Accessibility monitoring for web agencies
Keep accessibility from becoming a one-time client project.
Client websites change constantly. An accessibility monitoring workflow gives your agency a repeatable way to establish a baseline, check again after changes, catch detectable regressions, and explain the results to clients.
Why a one-time accessibility scan is not enough
A scan tells you what an automated test detected at one point in time. But the website keeps moving: developers deploy code, editors publish content, plugins update, forms change, and redesigns alter navigation and colors. A site that improved last month can acquire new detectable barriers this month.
For agencies responsible for ongoing website maintenance, accessibility therefore fits naturally into the same maintenance rhythm as performance, uptime, backups, and security checks.
A simple monitoring workflow for client websites
Scan the public client site and save its score and findings as the starting point.
Check after releases and content changes, or use scheduled monitoring on a paid plan.
Review score movement and detectable findings instead of treating every result as unrelated.
Give your team or client prioritized findings, potential fixes, and a record of what changed.
What should an agency accessibility report include?
A useful report should be understandable before someone opens developer tools. Barrier Beacon leads with the automation score, scan trend, number of pages tested, affected elements, and the highest-priority findings. Each finding can include potential remediation guidance and technical evidence for the person making the fix.
Our public example shows the same report format generated by the product, using demonstration data.

Automated testing can detect only some accessibility barriers. It cannot determine whether every person can use a website, replace appropriate manual testing, or establish WCAG, ADA, or other legal compliance. Barrier Beacon is monitoring and decision-support software—not an accessibility certification or an overlay that changes the client's website.
Who is this workflow for?
Barrier Beacon is designed around agencies, freelance developers, WordPress maintenance providers, and other teams that manage public client websites over time. The useful distinction is ongoing responsibility: if your team changes or maintains the website, having a stored baseline makes later accessibility checks more meaningful.
